Engineering Assessment
Site investigation, condition review, problem definition, option development and technical recommendations built around the operating need.
Request an assessment →ENGINEERING-LED BUSINESS SOLUTIONS
Stonegem brings engineering judgement, operational experience, commercial discipline and global sourcing together to solve complex facility, plant and project challenges—from diagnosis through delivery.
01 / POSITIONING
We start with the operating condition: what is failing, constrained or underperforming—and what outcome the business needs. Engineering assessment shapes the solution; commercial and sourcing capability makes it executable.
WHAT WE DELIVER
Support can begin with a complex operating problem, a technical assessment, one critical item or a coordinated capital project.
Site investigation, condition review, problem definition, option development and technical recommendations built around the operating need.
Request an assessment →HVAC, refrigeration, pumps, motors, fire protection, automation, indoor-air quality, energy and water-system solutions.
Discuss an engineering need →Furniture, fixtures, operating equipment, guestroom supplies, hotel amenities and public-area requirements.
Plan a supply package →Specification-led sourcing for finishes, fixtures, tiles, mouldings, lighting and coordinated project materials.
Share your project scope →Equipment renewal, reliability, maintenance, utilities and business optimization support designed around uptime, lifecycle value and performance.
Solve an operating challenge →NEED SOMETHING ELSE?
We source beyond a fixed catalogue. Tell us the specification, operational objective or supply challenge—and we will help define the route forward.

SELECTED PROJECT STORIES
Presented without client names to protect confidentiality. Each story focuses on the engineering and business problem.
An ageing central system required a coordinated renewal strategy without losing sight of guest operations. Stonegem helped translate the condition assessment into a seven-unit replacement programme, supplier coordination, installation planning and schedule-risk management.
A high-occupancy auditorium presented persistent moisture and air-quality concerns. The response combined site investigation, interim air purification and development of a dedicated dehumidification concept sized around the actual space conditions.
Instead of treating replacement as a like-for-like equipment purchase, the concept considered modular capacity, pumping, air separation, retained terminal equipment, electrical requirements and structural verification as one operating system.
A site inspection established the need for replacement and informed an engineered pump selection. The work aligned hydraulic confirmation, equipment availability and commissioning timing with the wider plant renewal programme.
HOW WE WORK
Engineering leads the thinking. Procurement, coordination and delivery turn the recommendation into an operating result.
Start with your challenge →We investigate the condition, constraints, risks and business outcome—not only the requested item.
We define the technical response, evaluate options and establish the scope and success criteria.
We source, compare and negotiate suitable solutions for value, lead time, risk and lifecycle fit.
We coordinate supply, installation interfaces, commissioning, handover and required follow-through.
